About me

As a kid I used to love doing voices, making up characters and trying to make others laugh. My first starring role (aged 5) was reading the lunch menu to different classrooms every day in a different voice. I realised immediately what career lay ahead of me - I shall become….an airline pilot. I’ve been fortunate to fly all over the world whilst having the opportunity to meet fantastic people and see incredible sights.

However, I’ve always known the passion to create voices and characters was still there. So I finally made the leap and became a voiceover artist. One thing I love about what I do is helping clients connect with their audience to increase their revenue, all from my broadcast quality home studio in Brighton. I enjoy being able to target the right emotions that mirror the brief and concept. Helping clients achieve these goals makes me feel so fortunate to be in this career.

After a long session recording, I love being able to go on adventures with my son. Mountain life, extreme sports or chilling on the beach suits us just fine. I’ve even thrown myself out of an airplane - although I’d never leave my passengers mid-flight. I find these pursuits are excellent to refresh my mind so I’m ready to bring new ideas and life to a client’s new project.

“Fraser Laing turned around the VO work for our 5 star sellout Fringe show super quickly and professionally.  His rich, warm and engaging tones were exactly what we required.  The quality of the recording was also exceptional.”
